AIM3D, a Rostock, Germany-based 3D printing startup, raised an additional funding round of undisclosed amount.
Backers included The HZG Group, the High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and other early-stage investors.
The compan y intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and to launch the series production of the ExAM 510 industrial printer.
Founded in 2017 as a spin-off of the University of Rostock, AIM3D is a makers of 3D multi-material printers based on standard injection molding granules, to print products made of metals, ceramics, plastics and reinforced plastics. The company currently employs 17 people.
