Aluminum, a Las Vegas, NV-based private equity firm specializing in B2B software-as-a-service (SAAS) companies, acquired TrueAbility, a San Antonio, TX-based provider of a performance-based skill assessment platform. 

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Led by CEO Frederick Mendler, TrueAbility is a performance-based assessment platform that enables organizations to evaluate technical skills effectively. The platform’s advanced technology and assessment tools empower companies to make informed decisions in talent acquisition, skills development, and career progression. Founded in 2012, TrueAbility has long been recognized as a frontrunner in the field of performance-based skill assessment, providing innovative solutions to measure and evaluate technical skills across various industries.

Led by CEO John Cross, Aluminum acquires and operates mid-stage technology companies with a particular emphasis on B2B SaaS solutions. It provides its portfolio companies with deep operational expertise in all aspects of the business to scale to the next level.
