Battery Smart, a New Delhi, India-based provider of a battery swapping network for electric two and three-wheelers, raised $33M in Pre-Series B funding.
The round saw participation from existing investors Tiger Global and Blume Ventures, as well as new investors The Ecosystem Integrity Fund (EIF) and British International Investment (BII).
The company intends to use the funds to add 100K customers to its network by 2025, and expand its geographic footprint.
Co-founded by Pulkit Khurana and Siddharth Sikka in 2019, Battery Smart is a provider of a battery swapping network for electric two and three wheelers. The company, which makes EV adoption accessible through a partner-led model, has completed 12 million+ battery swaps, set up 600+ swap stations, and works with over 25,000 vehicles across 25 cities.
