nVent Electric (NYSE: NVT), a London, UK-based company which specializes in electrical connection and protection solutions, acquired Texa Industries, a Mantova, Italy-based company which specializes in industrial air conditioners and chillers.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition of Texa Industries and its complementary portfolio strengthens nVent’s position as a global systems provider. It will operate within nVent’s Enclosures business segment.
Texa Industries provider of industrial cooling applications, including air conditioners and chillers, with approximately 90 employees.
nVent is a provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. The company manufactures, markets, installs and services high performance products and solutions that connect and protect sensitive equipment, buildings and critical processes.
