Portrait Analytics, a Boston, MA-based developer of a generative AI platform for investment research and thesis creation, raised $7M in funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $10M, was led by Unusual Ventures, with participation from existing investor .406 Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Co-founded in 2022 by CEO David Plon, and Connell Gough, Portrait Analytics works to accelerate and deepen investment research through building a generative AI research assistant. The platform currently is in private beta with asset managers, with plans to release access to analysts on its waiting list in the coming months.
