Runway, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a strategic planning platform, raised $27.5M in Series A funding.
The round, which followed on a $5m seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz, was led by Initialized Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its engineering, design, and sales teams, and invest further in AI.
Founded by Siqi Chen, Runway provides a strategic planning platform, which gives teams a clear view of their business offering an environment for creating financial models, evaluating performance, and aligning teams. The platform also integrates data from HR, accounting, data warehouses and more, providing a single solution for understanding how a business really works, allowing teams to collaborate on strategic plans together.
Runway also announced a partnership with Rippling, a workforce management platform, to automate headcount planning and sync payroll data.
