Spline, a US provider of a no-code design platform for creating 3D assets, raised $15M in seed funding.
The round was led by Gradient Ventures with participation from Y Combinator, Chapter One, Guillermo Rauch, Vlad Magdalin, First Round Capital, NXTP, and Backend Capital.
The company, which has raised $16m in total funding, intends to use the funds to expand its development efforts and expand operations.
Led by CEO Alejandro Leon, Spline provides a collaborative platform which, launched in beta in March 2023, enables users to generate, edit, add 3D objects, organic shapes, interactive experiences, videos and animations, and export their design as JPG/PNG, MP4/GIF files or GLTF/USDZ, from their web browser. Team members can be organized in folders and projects and cooperate around their assets to improve and finalize them.
The company was part of Y Combinator’s 2021 batch.
