Terminal Industries, an Austin, TX-based provider of platforms that digitize the yard, raised $17M in Seed funding.
The round was led by 8VC and Prologis Ventures, with participation from NFI Ventures, RyderVentures, the corporate venture capital arm of Ryder System, Inc., Lineage Logistics, Vehicle Velocity Group, the Friedkin Group International, 9Yards, Northstar.vc, Amplifier, and MS&AD Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Founded by CEO Max Constant and CTO Neil Robertson, Ph.D., Terminal Industries develops novel AI platforms that digitize the yard to solve critical problems large logistics operators confront daily, including those driven by macro and micro economic trends.
Complementing the U.S. and U.K.-based team, Terminal’s advisors include global leaders in supply chain and logistics:
