Tiny, a Canadian technology holding company, acquired HappyFunCorp, a New York-based product engineering company.

The amount of the deal was $30M.

Founded in 2009 by Ben Schippers and Will Schenk, HappyFunCorp is a product engineering company that helps businesses reach of creative software tech and create quality web and mobile applications. The company offers a solution to create digital experiences and enhance the value of in-house product development teams. It has worked with startups and Fortune 500 companies like American Express, Samsung, Disney, and Bookshop.org.

Led by Andrew Wilkinson, Tiny is a technology holding company with a strategy of acquiring majority stakes in businesses. It has three core business segments, Beam, WeCommerce, and Dribbble, with other standalone businesses including a private equity investment fund. Other standalone businesses include several software and internet companies and the operation of a private equity fund where the company serves as the general partner. The Tiny Fund commenced operations in August 2020 and has a total committed capital of $150 million USD.
