Blanka, a Vancouver, Canada-based provider of a private label beauty and wellness platform, raised US$2M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Dundee Venture Capital, with participation from Storytime Capital, Disruption Ventures and other investors including Fatima Yusuf, and Manica Blain.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate entirely by organic marketing and strategic integrations with partners like Shopify.
Founded in 2021 by Kaylee Astle, Doug Long, and Adam Chuntz, Blanka provides a technology platform for independent brands of any size to source and customize beauty products – with no minimums by curating a large selection of products and handling branding, fulfillment and shipping.
The investment follows 12 months of growth for Blanka, which now has thousands of brands subscribed to the platform, fuelled entirely by organic marketing and strategic integrations with partners like Shopify.
