Braid, a San Francisco, CA-based social media startup dedicated to advance tools for creators, launched their platform with $6.8m in seed funding.
Backers reportedly included Andreessen Horowitz and Initialized Capital.
The company is using the funds to expand operations and its development efforts to expand the toold available to users.
Founded by Matthew Cahill and Chris Piro, Braid provides a social media platform that enables users to create their landing pages to showcase their work, including posts, videos, podcasts and links. Users can also build their outreach lists and engage with followers through messages or notifications. The app also offers link tracking and analytics tools.
