Communion Save Ltd, a London, UK-based fintech startup, raised £2.5m in pre-seed funding round.
The round was led by Target Global, with participation from angel investors Max Rofagha, Greg Marsh, and Erin Lantz.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by founder and CEO Daniel Hegarty, Communion provides a solution combining a savings account and a financial education app accessible for iPhone users, with Android currently in development.
The app combines a standard savings account, with a 3.66% AER, with an educational platform that coaches users on savings.
