Cytomos, an Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based life science company that has developed a proprietary new approach to analysing cells, secured £4m in funding.
The round was led by existing investors Archangels with participation from Old College Capital, Scottish Enterprise and new investor British Business Bank.
The company intends to use the funds to scale up market-testing of its technology platform Cytomos Dielectric Spectroscopy (CDS) and target commercialisation in 2024.
Led by David Rigterink (CEO) and Lindsay Fraser (CSO), Cytomos has developed CDS to enable the biopharma industry to bring novel therapies to market faster and reduce costs by enabling decision making earlier.
