Hungri Games, an Istanbul, Turkey and Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK-based mobile gaming studio, raised USD1.9M in Seed funding, at valuation of USD23M.
The round was led by Bogazici Ventures with participation from Sebastien Borget, Roko Finance, Preston Labs, Triple Dragon, Erol Ozmandiraci, Oyunfor and Caglan Tanriverdi.
Founded by Kagan Berk Kocak in 2019, Hungri Games is a game studio consisting of over 30 team members, specialising in Web3 gaming. It is known for its hybrid genres such as Racing RPG and Action Strategy games.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its portfolio and development on multiple titles, including the highly anticipated Racing RPG, Metahorse Unity, which combines horse racing with deep RPG elements and introduces a free to play business model as monetisation tool.
