Ozlo Sleep, a Boston, MA-based science-driven sleep and audio technology company, emerged from stealth after completing a $10M Series A funding.
The round, raised last fall, was led byĀ LifeArc VenturesĀ andĀ ARTIS Ventures. Dr. Imran Hamid, Senior Investment Principal at LifeArc Ventures, andĀ Vasudev Bailey, Senior Partner at ARTIS Ventures, have joined the Board of Directors.
The company is using the funds to launch Ozlo SleepbudsĀ®, a headphone designed specifically for sleep.
Co-founded by three ex-Bose employees, including Chief Executive Officer,Ā N.B. Patil, COO Brian MulcaheyĀ andĀ CPO Charles Taylor, Ozlo is on a mission to clinically enhance rest without pharmaceutical intervention to improve both wakefulness and the quality of mental and physical well-being. Its Sleepbuds, which leverage certain acquired and licensed proprietary sleep-related technology from Bose Corporation, will launch later this summer.
