Tilebox, a Dover, DE-based integrated midstream platform for the space industry, raised $1.7m in pre-seed funding.
The round was led by Cocoa Ventures, Possible Ventures, Remote First Capital, with participation from Findus Ventures and Luis Sanz, CEO of Carto.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Stefan Amberger, and Laura Costa, Tilebox provides space companies with a platform to develop their in-house data pipelines efficiently and effectively by eliminating friction between teams and the maintenance of suboptimal solutions.
At the core of its solution are data processing capabilities, integrations with downstream services like analytics tools and marketplaces, and interfaces upstream towards space service providers.
