Tripmakery.com, a Vienna, Austria-based group travel booking platform provider, raised a seven-figure funding round.
Backers included ZAKA VC, Gateway Ventures, KFLT Angels and Seedblink, and Jean-Pascal Duvieusart.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, its offerings, and its business reach across Europe.
Founded in 2016 by Robert Sasse, and Ajmal Said, Tripmakery.com helps travellers find group accommodations via an API that enables direct hotel bookings. With its enquiry process, the user can search among more than 115.000 accommodations in Europe.
On average, the company’s groups travel with 35 people. Tripmakery has 10 employees in Vienna.
