Wisecut, a Miami, Florida-based AI video editing startup, raised a seed funding of $1m.
The round was led by Tim Draper (Draper Associates).
The company intends to use the funds to enhance AI algorithms and machine learning models, optimizing performance and speed, improving the user interface and experience, integrating with popular cloud services, and strengthening the customer support and community engagement.
Founded by Ivo and Vicente Machado, Wisecut leverages AI and Voice Recognition to edit videos automatically and help users post video content in minutes.
Wisecut will automatically pick a song and tailor the music to fit videos. The audio edits itself, and tracks are pre-cleared, allowing users to monetize on YouTube. The company uses AI to balance audio, automatically lowering the music when someone is speaking and increasing it when speech is absent. This will ensure the audience hears what matters most.
