Varm, a Berlin, Germany-based insulation startup driving household decarbonization, raised a seven-figure pre-seed funding round.
The round saw participation from Foundamental and A/O.
The company intends to use the funds to build the technological infrastructure for cavity-wall insulation and expand its footprint in Germany.
Led by Christian Gruener and Sebastian Wuerz, Varm is a one-stop shop to insulate buildings with cavity wall insulation. Currently focused on the Berlin area, homeowners can use it to get a quote, access grants, and have their insulation installed by insulation installers. By digitizing the customer journey, and improving accessibility to quality installers, the company is aiming to insulate one million homes in the next 10 years.
