Braincube, an Issoire, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France-based provider of a manufacturing data software platform, raised €83M in funding.
The round was led by Scottish Equity Partners with participation from Bpifrance Equity MidCap fund.
The company intends to use the funds to support its global position in the manufacturing software industry.
Founded in 2008 and led by Laurent Laporte and Sylvain Rubat, Braincube provides an Industrial Internet of Things (‘IIoT’) platform that helps manufacturers increase their profits using data insights to improve quality, productivity, and sustainability in their factories. By connecting to and upgrading manufacturing data into tangible business insights, Braincube’s solution helps customers to improve operational efficiency, boost profits, and improve sustainability goals.
The company now has over 250 employees across its operations in France, Europe, the United States, and Brazil. The software is used on manufacturing sites across 35 countries. Braincube’s customer base spans several manufacturing verticals, including the food and beverage, pulp and paper, building materials, and tires and plastics sectors. Customers include global manufacturing companies such as Bridgestone and International Paper.
