Daytona, a NYC-based provider of a self-hosted development environment management platform, raised $2M in Pre-Seed funding.
The round saw participation from 500, with participation from Tiny.vc, Silicon Gardens, Darkmode VC, Firestreak Ventures, Abhinav Asthana, Charity Majors, Christian Bach, Prashanth Chandrasekar, Zach Lloyd, Milin Desai and Paul Copplestone.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development, expand its team, and intensify market penetration, especially within large organizations where self-hosted environments are paramount.
Led by CEO Ivan Burazin, Chef Architect Goran Draganic and CTO Vedran Jukic, Daytona is a platform that simplifies the creation of standard and secure developer environments, automates environment setup on new project branches, and facilitates environment sharing among team members. The platform is designed to be compatible with any IDE & GIT provider, adhering to industry standards like Dev Container. Daytona serves as an enterprise-grade GitHub Codespaces that is operable on the existent infrastructure of the user.
