Hololight, an Innsbruck, Austria-based company which specializes in AR and VR solutions for the enterprise market, raised $12M in funding.
The funding was led by Flatz Hoffmann, with other key contributors including existing investors EnBW New Ventures, Bayern Kapital, and Future Energy Ventures. Following on from the Series A investment in December 2021, the new $12m investment brings the total funding raised to date to $27m.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its XR streaming platform, Hololight Hub.
Led by CEO Florian Haspinger, Hololight specializes in immersive software and technology for the enterprise market. As an enabler of virtual and augmented reality (XR), the company provides the platform to centralize the management of XR applications and simplify access and use. Hololight currently serves more than 150 customers, including accounts such as BMW, Nokia, and Engie, as well as a number of global aerospace and defense clients. It is also a used partner to key industry players such as Amazon Web Services, Qualcomm, Nvidia, and Verizon.
