Hybr, a Bristol, UK-based provider of an aggregated platform for first-time renters, including students and young graduates, raised £3.24M in funding.

The round saw participation from Blackwood Ventures, Adjuvo, Alec Dent as part of the Atomico Angel Programme and individuals such as the former CEOs of The Office Group, Hannah Rothschild, serial entrepreneur Debbie Wosskow, Rosemary Leith, and Evelyn Bourke, the former CEO of Bupa.

The company intends to us the funds to expand its business reach.

Led by Founder and CEO Hannah Chappatte, Hybr provides a platform, which matches young renters to vetted landlords, whilst providing landlords with a connected lease-up experience, offering pre-qualified and supported tenants. Its service is free for young renters.

Hybr is currently active in 10 UK cities, including London, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield, with plans to launch in 20 key university cities in the coming 12 months.
