Levenue, a Breda, the Netherlands-based revenue-based investing marketplace, raised €8M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Truffle Capital with participation from Freshmen Fund.
The company, which also acquired Cake, a company known for its open banking and data enrichment technology, intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth as Europe’s revenue-based financing marketplace. With the acquisition, Levenue will boost the efficiency and accuracy of underwriting to further scale its operations across Europe.
Led by CEO Benjamin Rieder, Levenue is a revenue-based financing marketplace that is on a mission to create a more transparent model for connecting entrepreneurs and investors. Operating in 12 countries across Europe*, subscription-based companies can sell the forecasted cash flow of their existing subscriptions as collateral for non-dilutive financing to institutional investors on its marketplace.
Investors have deployed over 300 million EUR to subscription-based companies through the marketplace since its launch in 2021.
*Levenue currently operates in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
