LiveKid, a Krakow, Poland-based provider of a management application for kindergartens and nurseries, raised €3.14M in funding.
The round was led by inovo VC.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into the Latin American market.
Led by CEO Jakub Pawelsi, LiveKid provides a management platform for kindergartens and nurseries, which features tools for staff, administration and communication. Administration tools include account reconciliation system, mobile payments, payment reminder function, hourly/status reports, collection authorizations, e-journal, recruitment, and sending catering orders. Communication features include absence planning by parent, virtual corkboard with comments, e-classes, photo gallery, file disk, internal messenger, blog posts in the app, unlimited number of parents. Group management features include registration of arrival/departure times of the child, meal report, division into groups within the facility, automatic meal list, timetable, history of changes, menu, and child card.
The application is used by approx. 3,500 kindergartens and 400,000 parents across Canada, Poland, and Spain.
