Meter, a San Francisco, CA-based company that provides internet infrastructure for businesses, acquired Interval, a San Francisco, CA-based company that enables engineers to build UIs with back-end code.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Acquiring Interval will enable Meter to automate internal workflows across business divisions—which will improve customer experience across the North American market.
Led by founder and CEO Alex Arena, Interval provides an internal app and tools platform used by companies such as Vendr, Starlight, and VStream. As part of the acquisition, all members of the Interval team, including Arena, are joining Meter.
Founded in 2015 and led by Led by Anil Varanasi, CEO, Meter provides internet infrastructure for businesses. Customers like Brex, Black Pine Circle School, Stord, Veho and Tishman Speyer use it to run their networks. The company is backed by Sequoia Capital, Sam Altman of OpenAI, and Lachy Groom. Others involved include Meraki co-founders John Bicket and Sanjit Biswas, VMware founder Diane Greene, Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon, former Walt Disney Studios Chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg, Silverlake founder and Co-CEO Egon Durban, Stripe co-founders John and Patrick Collison, and Tobi Lutke of Shopify.
