Qevlar AI, a Paris, France-based cybersecurity startup, raised €4.5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by EQT Ventures with participation from a number of angel investors including Olivier Pomel, Mehdi Ghissassi, and Florian Douetteau.
The company intends to use the funds to engage in a recruitment drive and further develop its generative AI cybersecurity solution.
Led by Ahmed Achchak, and Hamza Sayah, Qevlar focuses on elevating the productivity of Security Operation Centers (SOC) by incorporating AI technology. Its intelligent, zero-programming approach streamlines threat detection, uncovers hidden automations, and accelerates response times.
The first target was the investigation process. This led them to develop autonomous agents capable of conducting thorough investigations with minimal human input. These agents are not only autonomous but also stack agnostic, meaning they can integrate into any technology environment.
The output of these agents is structured data offering insights to enable SOCs to shift their focus from labor-intensive investigations to rapidresponse strategies.
