Sendabox, a Milan, Italy-based online logistics platform, raised €5.25m in Series A funding.
The round included:
- an equity portion of approx. €4.2m from Italmondo and Supernova Hub, as well as,
- new financing lines totalling €1.05m from Banca Intesa Sanpaolo and Banca Centropadana.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its Same Day and Next Day delivery services, as well as to advance its DeliveryNow network.
Led by newly appointed General Director Giovanni Galliani, former FedEx Managing Director Operations, Sendabox provides a comparison and logistics solutions platform for consumers and businesses, which integrates the logistic flow logistico for medium and large clients in Italy and abroad. Its services assure the same day and next day delivery, a capillary network of pick up points across Italy and 14 integrated carriers offering domesting and international shipping solutions. In 2022, the company created the DeliveryNow division, signing a deal which allows large e-commerce companies to grant delivery of up to 20kg packages in several northern and central regions of the country.
