Summit 7, a Huntsville, AL-based provider of cybersecurity and compliance services for the defense industrial base, acquired CSW Systems, a Vint Hill, VA-based provider of managed services and continuous compliance support for classified data processing facilities.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
This acquisition will further enable Summit 7 to provide services regarding classified initiatives in the department of defense (DoD) and intelligence community (IC) supply chains. The combined expertise of Summit 7 and CSW Systems will result in enhanced classified capabilities and a broader range of services for clients providing the same level of service for IL6 (Impact Level 6) requirements that Summit 7 currently provides for IL4 (Impact Level 4) requirements.
