Tetra, a NYC-based home services company helping homeowners transition from fossil fuels to clean energy, raised $10.5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Greycroft, Gutter Capital, Lerer Hippeau and 1sharpe Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its offering into new markets including New York and California, and to continue investment into developing its proprietary technology designed to make it easier and more affordable for homeowners to lower their carbon footprint.

Led by CEO and Founder Max Veggeberg, Tetra is working for the clean energy transformation by empowering homeowners to switch from fossil fuel heating and cooling systems to high-efficiency heat pumps. Tetra has developed a technology platform that allows homeowners to enter their address, get an instant price, and see what state and federal incentives are available to them. Its platform then matches customers with a qualified and vetted local contractor and creates efficiency along each step of the process.

Prior to founding Tetra, Veggeberg was the founder and CEO of HomeWorks Energy, which he grew to over $100M in revenue.
