HashKey Group, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange, raised nearly $100m after closing a Series A financing round, at a pre-money valuation of over $1.2 billion.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to enhance its Web3 ecosystem, and the product diversification of its licensed business in Hong Kong.
HashKey is a Hong Kong licensed crypto trading exchange offering its services to retail users and professional investors. The group, which has operations in Singapore and Tokyo, also offers new investment opportunities and solutions to institutions, family offices, funds, professional and accredited investors across the digital asset and blockchain ecosystem.
