Midel Photonics, a Bonn, Germany-based laser tech startup, raised EUR 1M in Seed funding.
Backers included High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and industry experts Thomas Merk and Dr. Markus Dilger.
The company intends to use the funds to further position its technology in the market and expand its application portfolio.
Co-founded in 2022 by David Dung, Frederik Wolf, Christian Wahl, Christopher Grossert, Midel Photonics has developed novel technology that shapes laser beams to enhance the efficiency of existing processes while paving the way for new manufacturing processes.
