PermitFlow, a Milpitas, California-based company that simplifies the construction permitting process, raises $31m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Kleiner Perkins with participation from Felicis, Altos Ventures, Initialized Capital, Y Combinator, and ConTech, workflow software, and AI angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO Francis Thumpasery, PermitFlow is a permit application and management platform that helps builders across the country to simplify and speed up the process of obtaining construction permits.

So far, the company has helped permit over 5,000 units of housing and plan to continue to prioritize that residential mission along with our commercial work.

This new funding allows them to deepen support of customers, investing in the permitting software. They are constantly improving and expanding the workflows, integrations, business intelligence, and collaboration capabilities to reduce the work involved in permitting and improve outcomes.
