Euroclear, a Brussels, Belgium-based company that provides settlement and custody of domestic and cross-border securities, invest in IZNES, a Paris, France-based funds marketplace based on blockchain technology.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The transaction will be subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.  

Established in 2017 by Christophe Lepitre, CEO, IZNES is a regulated company operating an international platform for subscriptions and redemptions of shares of European funds, compatible with various distribution channels. The company simplifies and harmonises the subscription processes, brings more transparency and provides an improved customer experience both for management companies and institutional investors.

Euroclear is the financial industry’s provider of post trade services. It provides settlement and custody of domestic and cross-border securities for bonds, equities and derivatives, and investment funds. The group comprises Euroclear Bank, the International CSD, as well as Euroclear Belgium, Euroclear Finland, Euroclear France, Euroclear Nederland, Euroclear Sweden, Euroclear UK & International.
