OpenMeter Raises $3M in Seed Funding

OpenMeter, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a data source platform for AI monetization, raised $3m in seed funding.

Backers included Y Combinator, Haystack, and, Sunflower Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and ite development efforts.

Led by Peter Marton, CEO, OpenMeter standardizes usage-metering to enable engineers to monetize AI products and standardize usage metering. Engineers use its Cloud platform to process millions of usage events per second to collect, integrate, and analyze consumption data for product, revenue, and efficiency teams.

OpenMeter Cloud is the managed version of its open-source metering platform, which offers usage insights, Stripe integration, visibility, and an understanding of per-usage cost.
