ZayZoon, a Phoenix, AZ-based earned Wage access (EWA) provider for small and mid-sized businesses, raised $15M in Series B extension funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $49.5M, was led by Viola Fintech with participation from Intuit Ventures and existing investors Framework Venture Partners, and Export Development Canada (EDC).
The company intends to use the funds to support its continued growth, innovation, and expansion.
Led by Darcy Tuer, CEO, Jamie Ha, CFO and Tate Hackert, President, ZayZoon provides a financial empowerment platform for SMBs. It is free for employers and takes only 30 minutes to implement. Employees can use ZayZoon to get paid whenever, however.
The platform also offers educational resources and tools to help workers break the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle.
