BMC, a Houston, TX-based company which specializes in software solutions for the autonomous digital enterprise, acquired Netreo, an Irvine, CA-based provider of smart and secure IT network and application observability solutions.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, the BMC Helix platform will provide customers with a full-stack, open observability, and AIOps solution.
Led by CEO Jasmin Young, Netreo provides an IT infrastructure management (ITIM), OpenTelemetry-based application performance monitoring (APM) and digital experience monitoring (DEM) solutions empower enterprise ITOps, developers and IT leaders with AIOps-driven observability, actionable insights, process automation and accelerated issue resolution.
