CASE, a Leesburg, VA-based provider of high-end software development and cloud engineering services to the U.S. intelligence community and private industry, merged with CyberKinetics, a Herndon, VA-based provider of cloud-based services and cyber solutions.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The transaction creates a provider of solutions to the defense and national security communities.

Founded in 2018 and Led by CEO Brandon Lally, CyberKinetics provides cloud-based services and solutions for federal agencies and commercial clients with compliance mandates. It offers IT solutions, including cybersecurity engineering, DevOps, data engineering, cloud migration, and infrastructure planning, to the national security community. The company’s management team will remain with the combined organization.

Led by CEO Paul Farmer, CASE is a provider of mission-critical technology services to the U.S. Government’s most discerning and difficult to penetrate customers in the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. It delivers a broad range of next generation IT capabilities in cloud, cyber and software development to solve its customers’ most pressing and important national security challenges. Specifically, the company provides classified, high-end services that are in constant and increasing demand, including secure cloud architecture and analytics, software development and automation, systems engineering and integration.

CASE is a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, a private equity firm that specializes in national security, aerospace, and industrial services.
