Collaborative Robotics, a Santa Clara, CA-based company which specializes in the development of practical collaborative robots (cobots), raised $100M in Series B funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $140M, was led by General Catalyst and joined by Bison Ventures, Industry Ventures and Lux Capital. Existing investors Sequoia Capital, Khosla Ventures, Mayo Clinic, Neo, 1984 Ventures, MVP Ventures and Calibrate Ventures also participated.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand the team with talent and advance its commercial deployments.

The company also announced that industry leader Teresa Carlson has joined the company as an Advisor.
