HD, a Thai based developer of chatbots for health care, raised $5.6m in Series A funding.
The round was led by SBI Ven Capital with participation from M Venture Partners, FEBE Ventures, Partech Partners, Ratio Ventures, Orvel Ventures, and TA Ventures.
HD is a healthcare and surgery marketplace in emerging Southeast Asia, powering over 1,800+ healthcare providers including some of the biggest hospitals. They connect patients to hospitals, clinics, operating rooms, and surgeons while offering healthcare financing solutions to increase access to affordable care and surgeries.
Its suite of products include:
- HDmall, an outpatient healthcare marketplace operating in Thailand and Indonesia, with plans to enter Vietnam;
- HDcare, an elective surgery platform which works with healthcare providers – many already on the HDmall platform – to increase utilization of hospitals’ and clinics’ operating room capacities;
- ‘MEhdIQ’, HD’s AI copilot trained on one of the largest and fastest-growing proprietary and anonymized healthcare product, transaction, and chat commerce data sets utilizing Large Language Models.
To date, over 300,000 patients have benefited from more accessible and affordable healthcare and surgeries through the platform.
