Manifold, a Newton, MA-based provider of an AI-powered clinical research platform, raised $15M in Series A funding.
The round was led by TQ Ventures, with participation from new investors Calibrate Ventures and SK Ventures, Dr. Sachin H. Jain, and existing investors including TTCER Partners. Additional investors and advisors included Dr. Gaurav Singal, former Chief Data Officer, Foundation Medicine; Eric Just, former SVP and General Manager, Health Catalyst; Amar Kendale, former Chief Product Officer, Livongo/Teladoc; Andrew Bialecki, CEO & Co-Founder, Klaviyo; Brad Porter, CEO & Founder, Collaborative Robotics and former VP Robotics, Amazon; Steve Fredette, President & Co-Founder, Toast; Jon Karlen, Chairman & Founder, Acadian Software; and Pravin Soni, former CTO & Co-Founder, Elevation Pharma.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and development efforts.
Led by CEO Vinay Seth Mohta, Manifold is a provider of an AI-powered clinical research platform, which streamlines the manual workflows of modern study and data management. The platform accelerates modern research studies, enabling researchers to rapidly collect, curate, and analyze comprehensive patient data.
The company works with research organizations across the country such as Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University.
