Splash, a San Diego, CA-based startup aiming to transform the pool service industry, closed a $4.5m pre-seed funding round.

Founded by Jeremy Yamaguchi, Splash aims to acquire hundreds of small pool cleaning companies and establish the first national brand in pool service. The company has already completed its first acquisition in Southern California and has plans for rapid expansion.

The ventures’ three-step playbook involves acquiring pool cleaning companies, integrating vertical software to optimize operations and customer experience, and reinvesting cash flows to accelerate further acquisitions and growth.
