Allozymes, a Singapore-based innovator in enzyme discovery and engineering, raised $15M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Seventure Partners of France and Xora Innovation of Singapore.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its expansion into Europe, and forge strategic partnerships within the food and chemical industries while signing new partnerships in the pharmaceutical and life science industry.

Led by CEO Peyman Salehian, Allozymes is a biotechnology company that applies its proprietary platform technology to rapidly develop novel enzymes and improve the bioeconomy across diverse sectors. Leveraging this screening power, it aims to build an enzyme data library to address the current and future needs of building robust biosolutions.
