Black Mountain Software, a Polson, MT-based provider of accounting and billing software for local government organizations, acquired Fiscalsoft, a Kentucky based market leader in accounting and payroll software solutions for local governments.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition Black Mountain Software will expand its portfolio of local government ERP solutions and mark its entry into Kentucky, a new state where Fiscalsoft has established a strong market presence.
Led by Ryan Smith, President, Fiscalsoft provides comprehensive and user-friendly software solutions, specifically designed to meet the needs of local government entities. With a strong client base and suite of applications, Fiscalsoft brings expertise and solutions to Black Mountain Software.
Black Mountain Software is a portfolio company of Peterson Partners providing Government account software serving small to medium-sized local governments throughout the U.S. It has over 50 team members and provide 30 integrated applications purpose-built for busy municipalities, counties, special districts, and schools.
