Caeli Wind, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of a platform for analysing and marketing wind energy locations, raised €11M in funding.
The round was led by Notion Capital with participation from Santander Alternative Investments and existing investors such as HTGF.
The company intends to use the funds to further enhance its international expansion, improving the value chain and further developing its advanced technologies.
Founded by Ben Schlemmermeier and Heiko Bartels in 2022, Caeli has developed an advanced AI-based analysis system and a marketplace to accelerate the expansion of wind turbines. In 2023, the company was able to identify 173 new locations for wind turbines in Germany and allocate them to project developers and energy suppliers.
