Eaton (NYSE:ETN), a Dublin, Ireland-based intelligent power management company, acquired Exertherm, a Harpenden, UK-based-based provider of thermal monitoring solutions for electrical equipment.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Eaton will accelerate its expansion into continuous thermal monitoring, improving safety and reliability of critical electrical equipment in key markets like data centers.

Exertherm provides solutions that are integrated into low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, busway, and motor control centers and are deployed globally, protecting customers’ electrical infrastructure.

Founded in 1911, Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to protecting the environment and improving the quality of life for people, making products for the data center, utility, industrial, commercial, machine building, residential, aerospace and mobility markets.

Eaton reported revenues of $23.2 billion in 2023 and serve customers in more than 160 countries.
