FleetPulse Raises 11M in Seed Funding

-

FleetPulse, a Chicago, IL-based trailer telematics solution provider, announced its launch as an independent company with $11M in seed funding.

The round was led by Four More Capital.

Led by Uber Freight executive Carl-Christoph “CCR” Reckers (Chief Executive Officer), FleetPulse provides an OEM-agnostic telematics platform that enables end-to-end visibility into trailer and cargo safety and security. The company offers telematics solutions across a comprehensive portfolio of devices, from hard-wired, OEM-installed sensors to easy-to-install aftermarket sensors and cargo cameras. Data collected directly from the trailer’s sensors and components enables real-time, proprietary strategic insights via a digital dashboard to increase utilization, enhance safety, and reduce maintenance costs.

Its data insights are used by some of the world’s largest private fleets of Fortune 50 companies to for-hire fleets of all sizes.

FleetPulse was founded in 2017 as a business unit within Great Dane, a manufacturer of high-performance commercial transportation equipment including dry, refrigerated, and platform trailers.
