Huzzle, a London, UK-based startup providing a careers network for students, societies, and employers, raised £1.4M in Pre-Seed funding.
Backers included 10X Founders, and angel investors Verena Pausder, Leon Szeli, and Alexander Mrozek.
The company intends to use the funds to expand to new regions within the U.S. and Europe in 2024 to become the go-to-platform for all student societies.
Led by CEO Ingmar Klein, Huzzle is building a three-sided marketplace that connects students, societies, and employers. Starting as a CRM for student organisations, it has grown into a career companion used by more than 80,000 students, generating over 1,000 job applications and event registrations per day. Beyond jobs and internships, users can also discover student societies, integrated into the platform through a CRM. This allows society leaders to create events, collaborate with other societies, manage sponsorships, and much more. More than 600 societies across the UK & Ireland are now using it.
