Quantic Electronics, a Simi Valley, CA-based electronic component company, announced the acquisition of M Wave Design, a supplier of ferrite-based RF and microwave components for aerospace, defense, and quantum computing applications.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Quantic Electronics will expand its offerings.
Founded in 1988, and led by CEO Ken Boswell, M-Wave designs and manufactures passive waveguide and coaxial components, including isolators, circulators, adapters and terminations. The company, which has supported leading-edge development in high power and low loss passive designs, owns a product portfolio positioned to supply components that perform at cryogenic temperatures used in quantum computing applications.
Led by CEO Ross Sealfon, Quantic is an electronic component company focused on defining and delivering the future of mission-critical electronics in military, aerospace, industrial and commercial markets. It is a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management.
