Welbe, a Mexico City-based healthtech startup, raised $7m in Series A funding.
The round was co-led by Volpe Capital and the International Finance Corporation, with participation from Kortex, GreenRock, NAZCA, Marathon, and Parceiro Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO Eduardo Medeiros Cardoso, Welbe helps companies take care of their employees, providing them with a comprehensive health ecosystem, through an intelligent occupational health management system added to a minor medical expense program to generate valuable information to reduce medical costs and absenteeism.
